Bilston High Street Link - Local Residents and Businesses
Overview
Welcome to the public consultation for the Bilston High Street Link site.
The draft proposals have been prepared in response to previous feedback. We are now seeking your views on these proposals as part of a community consultation process ahead of submission of a future planning application
Your comments and feedback will be summarised and included in a pre-application Statement of Community Involvement which will be submitted to the City of Wolverhampton Council alongside a future planning application.
High Street Link Proposals
The High Street Link site will be transformed into an aesthetically pleasing, flexible community space for recreation and events providing a direct, safe and visible walking and cycling north to south link.
The space will provide:
- An enhanced retail core (opportunities for mobile food and drink vendors)
- Children’s play areas
- Green open space
- Trees and shrubs areas
- An events area for public art, exhibitions, music and outdoor seating.
