Ward Street, Ettingshall - Central Open Space

Closed 20 Sep 2019

Opened 30 Aug 2019

Overview

We would like the views of local residents on plans to develop a green area of recreational parkland on the currently fenced off open space bordering Ward Street, Coningsby Drive and Northolt Drive.

Why your views matter

The necessary funding has been provided by the developers of the surrounding properties.

Our proposals include the following:

  • A network of paths to give local residents access through attractive landscaped parkland containing a variety of trees, shrubs, flowering plants, grassed areas and wild flowers.
  • A children’s play area containing a range of modern, vibrant play equipment suitable for a wide range of ages and ability levels.
  • A multi-use games area, providing opportunities for activities including basketball and five-a- side football within a fenced court
  • Outdoor gym equipment to give local residents an opportunity to improve their fitness levels.
  • Suitable perimeter fencing and seating.
