School Accessibility Strategy Consultation
Overview
Under Schedule 10 of the Equality Act 2010, local authorities must prepare and implement an Accessibility Strategy for the maintained schools they are responsible for. This strategy sets out how schools will improve access to education for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
We are seeking your views on the draft School Accessibility Strategy.
Your feedback is vital to ensure the final strategy reflects the needs and aspirations of children and young people with SEND, their families, and education providers.
Responses from this consultation will be used to update and strengthen the strategy, making sure it is practical, inclusive, and aligned with the priorities of our local community. Thank you for taking the time to share your views and help shape a more accessible education system for all.
