Delivering Your Priorities for Wolverhampton
Overview
Welcome to the City of Wolverhampton Council’s online budget simulator.
Like many other local authorities, the City of Wolverhampton Council is facing significant financial challenges because of reduced funding, increasing demand and the impact of the cost of living crisis.
Despite these challenges, the Council continues to set a balanced budget to deliver key public services and vital city amenities.
These challenges are set to continue in 2023-2024 and your task is to review what we spend and tell us how you would set a balanced budget by making budget reductions or raising income.
This budget simulator summarises the financial position facing the Council and allows you to suggest how you think we should meet the financial challenge.
Your responses are important and will help update our Our City: Our Plan.
The simulator will ask you to make percentage changes to our current budgets and council tax, and it will interactively show you the resulting impact, based on the choices you make.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this budget simulator.
