Why your views matter
A Conservation Area is an area of special architectural or historic interest, with a character or appearance which it is desirable to preserve or enhance. Conservation Areas help to protect features of the historic environment that are unique and distinctive. Some of the Conservation Areas in Wolverhampton do not have an up-to-date Appraisal and Management Plan, which means it is difficult to protect and enhance their special features when development is proposed.
