Made Taxi, Disabled Bay, Waiting and Loading Restrictions on Market Street

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (CITY CENTRE) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 1) ORDER 2026

The restrictions are required to support improvements to City Centre taxi ranks, help congestion caused by vehicles parked in an inappropriate location, improve visibility issues and help safeguard vulnerable road users.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant section of the Act or on the ground that any requirement of those sections of the Act or of Parts I to III to the Act or any regulation under the said Part III has not been complied with may, within six weeks of 25th August 2026 make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
