Made Waiting and Loading Restrictions on Brook Street

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (BILSTON) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 1) ORDER 2025

The restrictions are required to support a planning condition relating to an industrial estate development taking place on location which will contribute to economic growth and will provide local jobs. These proposals include a new junction with Brook Street and Bath Street and a priority give-way system to allow larger vehicles to access the estate safely and efficiently. The waiting and loading restrictions are required to prevent inappropriate parking to maintain vehicle access and sightlines.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant section of the Act or on the ground that any requirement of those sections of the Act or of Parts I to III to the Act or any regulation under the said Part III has not been complied with may, within six weeks of 20^th January 2026 make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
