Proposed changes to Waiting and Loading Restrictions and Off Street Car Parking arrangements Wednesfield Town Centre, Wolverhampton.

Following requests from Councillors and traders for a review of parking arrangements in Wednesfield Town Centre, the City Council is now proposing a number of changes to the on-street waiting and loading restrictions and car parks in the town centre.

In an effort to provide improved parking availability for visitors to the town centre, whilst also meeting the needs for longer term parking, the City Council is now proposing changes to the on street waiting, loading, blue badge parking and also to off street car parking arrangements as follows.
 

  • Revised waiting times on High Street and Church Street.
  • Increased Blue Badge disabled parking on High Street and Nichols Fold.
  • Revisions to No Waiting/No Loading in parts of High Street, Church Street, Alfred Squire Road and Well Lane.
  • Revisions to the waiting times and charges for the off street car parks on Alfred Squire Road and Woodhouse Fold.
