Proposed Changes to Vehicular Waiting and Loading Restrictions - Midland Metro Tram Extension (Wolverhampton City Centre)

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (WOLVERHAMPTON CITY CENTRE METRO EXTENSION) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING, LOADING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2022
As part of the public transport improvement works to facilitate the Midland Metro tram line extension from Bilston Street to Wolverhampton Railway Station at the eastern end of Railway Drive, City of Wolverhampton Council are proposing a number of changes to the existing waiting and loading restrictions. These changes affect a number of roads in the vicinity of the tram extension route in the north east of the City Centre as follows:
- Changes to the existing peak hour loading restrictions on sections of Fryer Street, Lichfield Street, Bilston Street and St Georges Parade to provide better protection to the Tram extension route.
