Proposed Waiting and Loading Restrictions on Cherry Street
Overview
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (PENN) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 7) ORDER 2021
The City of Wolverhampton Council is undertaking formal consultation regarding proposed waiting and loading restrictions in parts of Cherry Street.
The proposed restrictions are required to address concerns that have been expressed regarding inappropriate school related parking and the availability of parking during the day. These proposals will help to improve the safety of pedestrians within the roads surrounding Nishkam Primary School and also aim to increase the availability of parking provision within Cherry Street by preventing vehicles waiting all day.
