Overview

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (BILSTON) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 2) ORDER 2022

An informal consultation was undertaken in January 2022 regarding proposed parking restrictions aimed to address concerns that had been expressed by businesses regarding inappropriate parking, leading to access, visibility and obstruction of the footway issues. 

City of Wolverhampton Council is now undertaking formal consultation regarding revised proposed waiting and loading restrictions in parts of Cooper Street.  The proposals have been amended to address feedback received during the informal consultation.  

The revised proposals now include a length of the restriction that only applies during part of the day, and also introduces some time limited waiting areas.
