Proposed Waiting and Loading Restrictions on Wulfruna Street

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (CITY CENTRE) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 2) ORDER 2023

The City of Wolverhampton Council is undertaking formal consultation regarding revised waiting and loading restrictions in parts of Wulfruna Street.

The proposed restrictions are required in order to address concerns regarding inconsiderate parking in Wulfruna Street causing congestion issues.  Correspondingly, the council are proposing restrictions to improve the flow of traffic in Wulfruna Street, whilst maintaining provision for loading/unloading and adding provision for short stay drop off zones to facilitate visitors to local entertainment venues, the University and other amenities.
