Proposed Waiting, Loading and Prohibition of Stopping Restrictions on Green Park Avenue
Overview
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (BILSTON) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 4) ORDER 2022
In the interests of the safety of children travelling to and from the Schools on Green Park Avenue, the City of Wolverhampton Council is undertaking formal consultation regarding proposed waiting and loading and prohibition of stopping restrictions in parts of Green Park Avenue.
The proposed restrictions are required to address concerns that have been expressed regarding inappropriate school gate related parking leading to access, visibility issues and obstruction of the footway, for both pedestrians and road users.
The proposed restrictions will also help maintain access to the provision of a new pedestrian crossing point on Green Park Avenue.
