Chapel Street, Bradley Street, Station Road, Loxdale Street – Proposed Waiting Restrictions

An informal consultation was undertaken in May/early June 2022 regarding the former Loxdale Primary School building which is going to be used temporarily as a City of Wolverhampton Council Taxi Licensing and Inspection Facility.  Two options were presented, one where the restrctions were mainly on the school building side of Chapel Street and the other option with restrictions mainy on the opposite side of Chapel Street.

City of Wolverhampton Council is now undertaking formal consultation regarding the preferred option received in feedback - replacement of the School Keep Clear markings with No Waiting Monday-Friday 8.00am-6.00pm, Saturday 9.00am-4.00pm (single yellow line) restriction on the north eastern side of Chapel Street (school building side); plus a short section of single yellow line restriction on the south western side of Chapel Street outside nos. 101-103 Chapel Street designed to prevent parking near to the traffic calming/Give Way markings.
