(SHAW ROAD) (ONE WAY TRAFFIC) EXPERIMENTAL ORDER 2020

In early June to allow for the re-opening of the Shaw Road Household Waste Recycling Centre a temporary One-way system was introduced on Shaw Road between its junctions with Bushbury Lane at the north and Showell Road at the south, this restriction was put in place to manage vehicle queues that were envisaged with the re-opening of the facility. Following the effectiveness of this measure the City Council will be advertising on 18th July 2020  the introduction of an Experimental order which will then come into force on the 26th July 2020 for a period of 18 months during which time, dependant on the responses received from business owners and the public, could be modified, adopted in full or abandoned.
