The voluntary and community sector in Wolverhampton

City of Wolverhampton Council has developed a draft Voluntary, Community, Social Enterprise and Faith (VCSEF) Strategy.

This consultation builds on extensive engagement with the sector, including workshops, feedback and ongoing discussions that have shaped the draft to this stage.

The strategy sets out the Council’s approach to working with and alongside the VCSEF. It is a corporate strategy that defines how we will strengthen relationships, improve partnership working and support the sector to thrive.

It also sets out a renewed and more confident approach to partnership — recognising the VCSEF not as an add-on to delivery, but as an equal partner in shaping the future of the city.

We are now inviting your feedback to help finalise the strategy and ensure it reflects the priorities and experiences of communities and organisations across Wolverhampton.
