Overview

Changes to Cycling Facilities as part of the ongoing public realm improvement programme to provide improved Cycling Facilities in Wolverhampton City Centre. 

As part of the on-going wider public realm improvements within the City Centre and the continued recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, City of Wolverhampton Council are proposing a number of changes to the existing road layout, to provide improved cycling facilities, on a number of roads from east to west of the city centre as follows: 
 
The formation of One Way Streets to parts of Darlington Street, Lichfileld Street and Queen Square. 

Formation of contraflow cycle lane to parts of Darlington Street, Queen Square and Lichfield Street. 

Formation of a with flow cycle lane to part of Darlington Street.

Formation of a loading bay to part of Lichfield Street.
