WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (CONTROLLED MATCH DAY PARKING ZONES) ORDER No.1 2024

Proposed One-Way, Match Day Permit Parking Restrictions, Waiting & Loading Restrictions.

Following scheme consultation carried out in August and September 2024, the City of Wolverhampton Council is undertaking formal consultation on the following:

• A one-way restriction for Staveley Road and part of Leicester Street.
• Extending the Match Day Parking Restrictions to include parts of Dunstall Road, Evans Street, Lowe Street, Devoran Close, Jackson Street and Craddock Street.
• Waiting and Loading Restrictions on Staveley Road, Dunstall Road, Leicester Street, Mostyn Street, Great Hampton Street and Francis Street. 

The above restrictions are proposed to improve road safety and vehicle flow by removing two-way traffic movements, removing the need for vehicles to park on the pavement, providing marked parking bays to indicate where parking and loading is deemed safe and unobstructive and to provide residents the opportunity to park near their property during match days.
