THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (CITY CENTRE - TAXI RANKS) (PROHIBITIONS OF WAITING AND STOPPING) ORDER 2023
The City of Wolverhampton Council is undertaking a formal consultation regarding proposed prohibitions of stopping and waiting Traffic Regulation Order [TRO] restrictions (including proposed adjustments to some existing loading restrictions on Lichfield Street) in parts of Bailey Street, Bell Street, Castle Street, Chubb Street, Darlington Street, Lichfield Street, Market Street, Princess Street, Queens Square, Snow Hill, Tower Street and Wulfruna Street.
The proposed restrictions are required to enable the enforcement of the existing City Centre Taxi Ranks in order to facilitate the safe and efficient operation of the highway in and around the City Centre.
