THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (CITY CENTRE) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 1) ORDER 2026

The City of Wolverhampton Council is undertaking formal consultation regarding proposed Taxi, Disabled Bay, Waiting and Loading Restrictions in parts of Market Street, Castle Street and Tower Street.

The proposed restrictions are required to support improvements to City Centre taxi ranks, help congestion caused by vehicles parked in an inappropriate location, improve visibility issues and help safeguard vulnerable road users.
